The SFP-1000Base-TX electrical SFP transceiver (RJ45) is designed for high speed Gigabit Ethernet data links up to 1.25 Gbaud, but can operate at 10/100/1000 Mbps with SGMII interface. It is a high performance integrated duplex data link for bi-directional communication over CAT 5 unshielded twisted pair copper cable. It is compliant with the MSA Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) specification. The transceiver is hot pluggable and operates at +3.3V.
The RJ45 connector supports shielded and unshielded cables. The connector is mechanically robust enough and designed to prevent loss of link, when the cable is positioned or moves in different angles. The connector passes the “wiggle” RJ45 connector operational stress test.
